Mark your calendars for this year’s Big Day of Giving: Thursday, May 1, 2025. Big Day of Giving is the region’s annual 24-hour giving day hosted by the Sacramento Region Community Foundation. Please help us reach our goal of raising $80,000+ to continue our agency’s life-saving work. Thanks to Parasec and other generous donors your donation can be doubled!
Stanford Settlement serves residents of Gardenland Northgate, North Sacramento, Del Paso Heights, and Natomas, assisting neighbors in making improvements to their own lives and to their community. Current events are impacting the lives of our neighbors in ways we can’t yet predict, but we anticipate an increase in need for services. We are ready to be innovative problem-solvers and, with your support, we are ready to scale up as needed.
Your generosity will help continue funding critical programs and services that:
Recently, one of our former Teen Center participants stopped by to share some happy news about his life. He reminisced about the hardships he encountered growing up, and reflected on how he persevered in spite of it all. He appreciated that we understood his problems at home, yet never criticized his family. We pointed out his resilience, and how proud we were when he graduated from high school. Today, he’s thriving—he has a great job, a safe place to live, and people he cares about. To us, that’s the true definition of success.
Yet, it’s often the unseen work that makes the deepest impact. It's the staff who work tirelessly with parents to overcome barriers and ensure kids get to school. It's the conflict resolution and mentorship that guide a student away from potential violence. It's the families who once benefitted from our Children's Program and now send their own children here, feeling the generational difference we make.
Our mission drives our work, and your generosity makes it possible. Together, we can continue building healthier communities and transforming lives every day.
