Teen Center
The Teen Center is a voluntary delinquency prevention program that provides support and encouragement for teens to stay in school, set and strive towards goals, and build healthy relationships with peers, parents, school, and the community. Youth in the 7th through 12th grades may participate.
Drop-in Center: The Teen Center is open Tues-Fri from 3:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. during the school year and from 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. when school is not in session.
Groups
Socialization groups meet weekly to promote relationship skills and positive self-esteem through the group process. Teens help each other solve problems with the help of their group worker.
Supportive Services
Teen Center members can take advantage of assistance in the form of home visits,
school visits, opportunities for volunteer work and employment, assistance with re-entry
into school, and other advocacy.
