Senior Center

Sister Jeanne Felion Senior Center

The Senior Center helps the community to recognize seniors as a vital part of the community, and to understand that aging does not mean the loss of value as a person. Seniors who are active in the community help younger residents see that they can be a resourceful, helpful, and active person in the community at any age.

The Senior Center helps in providing some respite for families caring for older relatives and gives seniors a place to get respite from relatives that they live with.

“I feel a sense of fellowship when I come to the Senior Center at Stanford Settlement.”

“This place means everything to me.  I’m no longer able to stay home by myself, so the Senior Center has become my second home.”
