We are kicking off the upcoming month with this 10-day event. Our online silent auction begins Thursday, October 1, at 7 p.m. and closes Saturday, October 10, at 8 p.m. Register at https://bit.ly/SSNCSilentAuction to see what kind of items are being auctioned, new items are being added regularly.

We will also go live every day at 7 p.m. You can tune in on Facebook Live or you can register here to access it via Zoom: https://bit.ly/SSNCOktoberfest.

At the onset of the pandemic, we temporarily closed all our center-based programming and shifted to delivering services via socially distant home visits. Social workers are delivering meals, groceries, and hope to 350+ children, teens, seniors, and families every week. We have also started a monthly drive-through grocery giveaway for the community.

The impact of our work means that vulnerable seniors avoid being completely isolated while staying at home. At-risk children and teens have support to access and participate in distance learning while schools are closed. Families who are out of work have extra support to feed their families.

Help us help others and support the increased demand for services brought on by COVID-19’s impact on our community.
